I'm Liz, an IBCLC serving Virginia Beach and the surrounding cities. I opened my practice in 2019 in Southern California and then moved my practice with my family to VA in July of 2022. I have my bachelors in Nutrition and a passion for serving mothers, babies and families. There is no shortage of reasons why breastfeeding is so beneficial for mothers and babies, but it's not always easy, and it doesn't look the same for everyone. With my first daughter I had amazing lactation support to help me through my breastfeeding challenges, and it changed everything for me. My goal is to work WITH you and your family to make breastfeeding work FOR you. If you're experiencing any breastfeeding challenges, please reach out! Continuing Education is very important to me. There is always more to learn, things to be reminded of, and opportunities for me to do even better for my clients! In order to continue to learn and improve I participate in lactation conferences, participate in clinical professional groups, and am always interested in connecting with other professionals in this industry (including other types of providers).
